This image of a Black Bear was taken in 2017 along the provincial border of British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. It’s a simple portrait but is deceivingly hard to capture in this way. The majority of bear close-ups end up with the background showing up next to the ears or legs. Luckily due to the unique angle of the bear, it was possible to get this close-up free from distractions.
