A Coastal Wolf walking along the shores of Vancouver Island. These unique wolves spend much of their time in search of food along intertidal zones of the BC coast.
In May of 2019, I spent 3 weeks on the coast of Vancouver Island in search of the elusive Coastal Wolf. I saw two. Tracks were everywhere but they were extremely challenging to see. This is my favorite photo from the trip and certainly the most memorable.
