Description: I first saw this Lynx in the distance while driving but it quickly disappeared into the forest. Usually, with Lynxes, you don’t see them again once they go into the forest. There happened to be a little dirt side road which we decided to pull into. Birds started alarming and branches began cracking so we knew it was around. Through the overgrown forest, we could see it off in the distance and it began making its way in our direction. We stepped out of the way and it walked directly in front of us. Having this be my first-ever encounter with a wild cat in Canada was incredible.
